Former Department of Interior Deputy CIO Edward Meagher Joins SRA International |

(NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations, today announced that Edward Meagher has accepted the position of Director of Strategy for Health Affairs in the company's Global Health Sector, where he will focus on Veteran's and Military Health issues.
Directly on the heels of his prominent career as a federal information technology executive, Meagher will be leading SRA's Global Health Sector into emerging areas where his background, expertise and passion will provide solutions to a broad set of clients. “As the global healthcare market continues to look to innovative uses of information technology to improve effectiveness and efficiencies in both health program development and healthcare delivery, Ed will play a lead role in identifying ways in which we can continue to expand our long-time support in this critical area,” said SRA Global Health Sector Senior Vice President Timothy Atkin. “Ed is a respected, dynamic force throughout the federal IT community, and his insights and expertise will greatly add to the value we provide our clients.” At the Department of Interior, Meagher provided direction, oversight and management of information technology for a diverse, billion dollar IT portfolio. Prior to that he was Deputy Assistant Secretary and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs and has a long history of government service. Meagher has received numerous awards in recognition of his performance, leadership, and contributions in information technology, both in the federal arena and the private sector.
