MANAGEMENT CONSULTING
Learning & Performance
Federal agencies are challenged to maintain a high-performance workforce while keeping pace with rapid technology changes, budget reductions and shifting employee expectations. Greater emphasis is now placed on competency and contribution. SRA can help clients make the dramatic shift from conventional training to strategic learning to help achieve workforce transformation.
SRA creates learning environments that transfer knowledge, sharpen job skills and improve long-term performance. Our seasoned staff combines consulting with collaborative design and creative execution to empower continuous learning at every level. Our experts use custom tools, advanced technologies and industry best practices to help clients get the right people, in the right places with the necessary skill set to meet the challenges ahead.
Highlights of our projects include:
- Developing learning solution for the military that includes technical systems training and general management and administration skills. Supplementing the coursework is a computer-based training (CBT) module that provides information tutorials plus “hands-on” practical exercises to allow students to apply knowledge gained and procedural skills learned in a simulated, controlled, work environment.
- Created multi-level learning program for the military that combines technical product training with interactive elements. Tests basic knowledge along with guided and unguided practices allowing students to become familiar with actual field circumstances. Scenarios test their ability to solve “real-life” situational challenges, and reinforce the transfer of knowledge from the training environment to the actual work place.
- Designed, developed and deployed a state-of-the-art learning system for the military to teach combat soldiers before, during and after deployment. Includes:
- Program of Instruction (400 hrs)
- Web Based Training (70 hrs)
- Computer Based Training (70 hrs)
- Embedded Tutorials (15 hrs)
The interactive, electronic training products are being used by both U.S. and U.K. forces in Iraq.
