John W. Barter
Former Chief Financial Officer, AlliedSignal, Inc.
Former President, AlliedSignal Automotive
Elected to the SRA board in 2003, John Barter has more than twenty-five years of experience in financial management, mergers and acquisitions, executive management and planning and analysis. Previous positions include Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Allied Signal, Inc., now called Honeywell International, Inc. Barter was also President of AlliedSignal Automotive.
Barter serves on the boards of BMC Software, Inc., SSA Global Technologies, Inc., and Bottomline Technologies, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Springhill College and a M.B.A. from Tulane University.
