Logistics Common Operating Picture
The military is using new technologies to improve the command and control of large scale logistics operations. The goal is to enable Warfighters and logisticians at all levels to have total situational awareness within a common operating picture (COP). SRA has partnered with the Department of Defense (DoD) to create a logistics COP tool that displays common data for every organization at every level. Our Integrated Surface Distribution and Data Cleansing ( iSDDC) reporting and analytics tool provides a single interface for business processes, including supply requisition, in-transit visibility and total asset visibility.
With iSDDC, users can design and produce customized reports and graphs to highlight operational and historical transportation metrics. iSDDC also provides Ocean Cargo, Surface Freight, Personal Property and Passenger transportation data. The sophisticated Geographic Information System features shows global port and associated locations supplemented by the latest carrier-reported shipment information and near real-time vessel locations. Users have secure, web-based visibility to over 35 million DoD shipment records.
