OEM Contract Overview

SRA holds a five-year contract to provide mission support to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Office of Emergency Management. OEM is responsible for developing and implementing prevention programs to reduce the risk of discharging releases of oil and hazardous substances to the environment, building preparedness capacity for oil and hazardous substances emergencies, and responding to emergency events and discharges of oil and releases of hazardous materials. The OEM Director serves as the Chair for the National Response Team (NRT), the interagency body that manages the National Response System and implementation of the National Contingency Plan.

How to Get Contract Support

The OEM contract ordering process allows SRA to begin work immediately upon receipt of work assignment.

  • Client identifies services needed.
  • Client issues work assignment.
  • SRA identifies requirements, confirms receipt of work assignment.
  • SRA develops and submits work plan, staffing plan, and cost estimate.
  • Client approves submission and work begins.
