The D-III contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract and is administered and managed by the Defense Contracting Command - Washington. Individual task orders are awarded by the Defense Contracting Command - Washington (DCC-W). Contract Number: W74V8H-04-D-0035
The D-III contract provides services for systems integration, design development, operations and maintenance of IT systems for the TRICARE Military Health Systems, military medical departments, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- System design and development services
- Web and database design/development
- Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software identification, selection, integration and implementation support
- Procurement of hardware, software, equipment, and materials
- System/subsystem integration
- System testing planning and performance
- Training planning and delivery, development of training materials
- Deployment support including planning, site surveys, installation, and post-deployment assessment
- Ongoing operations and maintenance support

- Customer submits task order requirements package to TMA Acquisition Management and Support Directorate (AMD).
- AMD submits package to DCC-W to begin contracting process.
- Contractors submit technical and cost proposals to DCC-W.
- Customer evaluates proposals.
- Contractor selected; task order awarded.
