Jeffrey "JR" Rydant

Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, Jeffrey "J.R." Rydant is responsible for enhancing SRA's new business pipeline and developing strategy to build corporate success through organic growth and acquisition.

During his tenure at SRA, Rydant has served as Chief Information Officer and SVP of Information Management & Technology, where he managed technical operations, IT infrastructure support, contracts, staffing and recruiting. He also has served as SVP of the Commercial Sector and led the firm's efforts to develop and sell commercial products. Most recently, Rydant led SRA's national security-related work, which spans the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security; law enforcement organizations at the national, state and local levels; intelligence agencies; and other federal agencies with security-related missions. His also led the Marketing and Sales organization, including business development efforts, from market and independent research to pricing analysis, proposal development and technical sales.

Before joining SRA, Rydant worked for GTE Government Systems as a systems engineer, focusing on radio frequency (RF) communication systems, nuclear weapon effects analysis and complex modeling & simulation.

Rydant holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in chemical and nuclear engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
