ISO 9001:2000
Quality Management Systems
SRA received ISO 9001:2000 certification on November 27, 2007 based on an audit of our Quality Management System (QMS) by Orion Registrar. Developed by the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9000 series of standards provide a proven framework for processes that enable an organization to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer requirements. ISO 9001:2000 enables SRA to enhance customer satisfaction through: (1) the effective use of our QMS processes, (2) the assurance of conformity to requirements, and (3) continual improvement of our QMS processes.
Our ISO 9001 registration scope currently covers all products and services provided to customers of three SRA business units:
- Enterprise Logistics Services (ELS) in our National Security Sector
- Enterprise System Engineering (ESE) in our National Security Sector
- Financial and Government Operations (FGO) in our Civil Sector
SRA will broaden the scope of our ISO 9001 certification until it covers the entire company. For the next surveillance audit in October 2008, we are adding nine business units to the scope of registration. This includes all remaining business units in our National Security and Civil Sectors, and two business units in our Global Health Sector.
